District 6 A Playoffs - Who's in?

Post by reugenev »

Here are the top 12 single A teams in D6 and who they play.
( Teams with losing records are underlined)

Who are the top 8 after week 10?

Interesting points according to MaxPreps,
CV does not have a week 10 game and Portage travels to Berlin AGAIN week 10?

I think the top 5 teams are in, the next 3 are much more difficult.

Cambria Heights is the wild card; they have the toughest schedule but could end up in the top 3 or be left out of the field. Northern Cambria should win 6 and get in. CV may win 5 but what about week 10? HC should end up with 6 wins and get in. The eighth spot is up for grabs between CH, WH should win 5 or 6, CK that should end up with 6 wins, or Purchase Line that could end up with 6 wins. Should be a fun 4 weeks!

1 BG 780 6-0 (CH, BM, JST, SOM)
2 MV 770 6-0 (GLEN, WIL, SH, WB)
3 PM 730 6-0 (BL, LV, PL, KEY)
4 PORT 560 5-1(CT, MEY, CV, BERL)
5 BA 520 4-2 (SH,NB, GLEN, PO)
6 CH 510 4-2 (BG, SOM, BED, JST)
7 NC 500 4-2 (ELK, MC, SALT, NB)
8 CV 480 4-2 (WIND, BERL, PORT, ?)
9 HC 460 4-2 (U, WMID, LIG, WILL)
10 WH 390 3-3 (JST, PC, BC, CC)
11 CK 360 3-3 (WILL, TM, EV, SH)
12 WB 350 3-3 (NB, MU, JV, MV)
13 PL 330 3-3 (MC, U, PM, WEST SH)

CH has the death schedule. They need 2 wins in 4 hard games.

PL has the easiest schedule. I see them picking up 3 more wins ending at 6-4. Same with westinghouse. Youre missing mo valley though, 2nd ranked team in d6A.

5 spots secured i feel. 6 westmont 7. Conamaugh valley 8. Northern or Cambria heights.... imagine if LHAC let the coal boal be the last game. Itd be a perfect play in game for d6A

Portage and Berlin isn't set in stone. If Portage loses to CT then CT will play Berlin. WestPAC has been doing a championship game with 1 playing 2, then 3 playing 4.....
Conemaugh Valley will have a game 10, it just hasn't been determined who yet.

I understand the 1 vs 2 for the WestPac Championship but a 3 vs 4 game could knock somebody out of the D6 playoffs!

Westmont will win 3 of their last 4 to be one of the teams that will make the playoffs.

CH will lose their last 4 games so they can start prepping for hoops and wrestling.
