My prediction wasn't to far off.  The Wing T might work against Conemaugh and Blacklick but the tougher teams it won't work.

Wing T can work but you need all 4 skill played to be threats. It isnt much different from a power I or pistol team. Its all about speed

You have to be able to change it up in different formations. Doesn't matter how good your backs are as long as you have a line that can move to get out in front

The offense/blocking is very different from any of those offenses.  Shoulder blocking, blocking at angles, most plays have your guards pulling and usually take you right to the play.  So it is very different

We always watched the guards at the line and opposite back from linebacker position. Like you said, takes you to the point of attack every time

Good teams know this and dummy pull about 40% of plays. I know we did that a lot at PM. I guess they still do it too.

You are correct about that. Would you happen to know how many team over the last 10 years have won a state title running the wing T? Im just curious about the actual numbers. Southern Columbia probably could have won the title those years running any offense, they were huge, had some kids play d1 and i belive in the nfl. To me it seems that football has progressed in the state and the wing T is no longer an effective enough of an offense to win state titles regularly. The spread and running qb has changed that, plus kids what the ball or to be WR's and make catches.
