They already released the cutoff numbers. 0-140 1A, 141-200 2A, 201-282 3A, 283-397 4A, 398-563 5A, and 564+ for 6A.

Now we need a list to see what school falls in which level.  And, for sake of conversation, how close a particular school's numbers might be to the cutoff numbers in a given level.
It ain't over until it's over.

True. But, schools have the ability to adjust the numbers or elect to play-up. Which won't effect the cut-offs. Although I'm not sure how co-ops (done after the release of numbers) is handled.

This pretty much shows how the 3A and 4A schools love stepping down and playing 2A and 1A schools, but ask them to play up one or two classes and they throw a fit.

I'd still love to a see a Super Conference for Football combine ALL teams in D6 and as close as possible playing by class.

Maybe a hybrid system, if your 3A and you play 2A you must also schedule a 4A.

Forget about travel time, it is only every other year you make the trip and the weather is never an issue.

It would be a lot of work but it could be done, but never will!

The concern I would have with a 4 team playoff is the teams that play down in schedule during the season taking a playoff spot from a team that plays up all season. I like the idea of 6 teams better than 4.
