Wow that's surprising Central has some solid o lineman. In my opinion Tyrones lineman under achieved but still. Jeez this sucks Tyrone lost I hate when the season is over. Dragon good luck to Central representing the mt. league in the d6 finals.

Joining the Mountain League would be a bad idea for Hollidaysburg.  The scheduling and travel would be nice and that is certainly a big deal.  However, the Moutain League would not prepare them for AAAAA playoffs.

Stay independent Tigers.  I know scheduling can become a headache and may be the deciding factor but I just don't think it would benefit the Tigers.

I would love to see a these teams play each other each year:

Hollidaysburg
Somerset
Johnstown
Bellefonte
Clearfield
Dubois
Indiana
Punxsutawney
Central Mountain
Altoona

I would throw in State College but realistically they are on another level than all these schools and it would do them no good to play this schedule.

This and your previous post about blitzes right up the middle is why I believe they are going to have a long year. Those lineman returning are the ones that didn't pick up the pressure. Pannebaker will move to tackle for sure, now you have 2 new starters, probably at the guards and a undersized center again. Going to be more of the same, only worse. They lose to Central, Clearfield and Hollidaysburg for sure. With Bellwood, Huntingdon, and Bellefonte being a coin flip without some change in strategy.
Dragon, where did you find the listing? I knew this was a hot topic. Apparently Clearfield only has 1st team O lineman, and BEA's Josh Fye, who is there purely by size.

You need to throw Mifflin County in that list, if we are dreaming up conferences.

I have faith that maybe the head coach and oc will see that this off season and fix the play calling. Throw more screens or little dump offs to the rb maybe some spread so we can take guys out of the box next years team probably aren't gonna be able to pound the ball like years past gotta evolve a little use Mitchell and Weaver in different spots like Central does with Hoenstine.

So I was just checking out Tyrone's roster and I was actually surprised at first at how many of their skill players were underclassman. Only Seniors were their QB and WR, everyone else was an underclassman.

Random question, I thought I remembered reading a post at the beginning of the season about Tyrone's Freshman QB starting in their second scrimmage and doing pretty well?

I can't remember if he started the scrimmage. Didn't get to see him throw much during the season. He started at linebacker.
