Do these things and your "unfairness" "victim" argument will go away. There's a reason  charter schools have formed, there is a ton of home schooling and cyber schooling. The public model is diseased.
Wow you've got a mind full of nonsense. You think it's the public schools that are indoctrinating students with fictional stories? Hilarious. And what happens when charter schools are just as poor performing as the public schools that they were suppose to provide an alternative to. If Imhotep were a public school it would have been replaced by a charter by now. And yes, evil unions are the reason private schools have an unfair advantage. Gtfo

Everyone should watch this:

And here's the other side of that coin:
“Education in a scientific society may, I think, be best conceived after the analogy of the education provided by the Jesuits. The Jesuits provided one sort of education for the boys who were to become ordinary men of the world, and another for those who were to become members of the Society of Jesus. In like manner, the scientific rulers will provide one kind of education for ordinary men and women, and another for those who are to become holders of scientific power.Ordinary men and women will be expected to be docile, industrious, punctual, thoughtless, and contented. Of these qualities probably contentment will be considered the most important. In order to produce it, all the researches of psycho-analysis, behaviourism, and biochemistry will be brought into play.” – Bertrand Russell, 1931 (p243

That's a classic Moldova. Bertrand Russell aka The 3rd Earl of Russell, would have fit right in with those who are controlling how and what our public schools teach (indoctrinate) today. He was a leading English elite - a rich left wing liberal and socialist -- what today we know as a democrap congressman or senator.
And birda, it's not "union(s) that are evil, just the Pennsylvania State teachers union -- .

For what it's worth, here's test SAT test scores prior to prayer being taken out of schools:

The mid-1970s was when a bunch of private schools started to spring up.

And here's a look at how family life began to change during that same time:

At some point they must have stopped teaching the difference between correlation and causation too.

west33 wrote:Peytonsaturday, Let me ask you this. Since you rip on Somerset so much, and say you were a center on a football team, What team was it and why so negative on Somerset all the time???? I see you are 41 yrs old, but don't act it ripping on kids and teams.
Please show me where I was "ripping" on the kids, or the team for that matter?  I said that I think Berlin could beat them.  Does this mean every time I do a "Fearless Forecast" I'm "ripping" on the team that I think won't win the game?  I played at Frankfort HS in WV.  I then played center at Virginia State, then got my masters at WVU.  But back on subject, please show me (by quoting the post) where I rip on any single kid, or school.  Love to see it.
Still waiting.... :-w :-w

A little dated don't you think?  It's hard to use something more than 20 years old as as reference point.
