Re: D5 Ultimate Team of the Decade
Cahill and Dibert are no doubt good. Dibert and Gibbons careers intersected a little. Gibbons won head to head although a year older then Dibert. Being a Bedford fan I would argue that Gibbons is one of the most talented Bedford wrestlers I have seen. Aside from a state medal he did it all. 3 time district champ, 3 time state qualifier, beat tons of state medalist including state champ Delauries from Burrell at state duals. But lack of individual state medal is a hole in resume.

Re: D5 Ultimate Team of the Decade
Looking back he was a very dominating wrestler and his win over eventual champ DesLauriers was nice but less impressive (to me) because it happened before Dakota won states. I always go back to the Jake Strayer -Garrett Scott comparison with this situation. Strayer gave Scott his only two loses but they were both before Scott won a state title and Jake lost in the first round of states that year so there wasn't a chance to meet a third time. While Strayers wins over Scott are impressive his overall career is what makes him a great wrestler in my mind.
