If this was a pitt head coach moldo would be praising that coach. But since its penn states he will critique it til the end of dawn.
Re: College Hoops 2/22-2/28
End of dawn? I haven't said much about PSU or Chambers this year. What's there to say? He doesn't get tossed, and I'm not even mentioning him or PSU's 30 point loss. Getting ejected is worth talking about. Let's see if three's a punishment involved. The Big 10 shouldn't put up with that stuff, being physically restrained in front of thousands of people watching live and more on replays.

As a Penn State fan and a Chamber critic over the years, I absolutely loved it. Like I said before, he needed to do this 2 seasons ago. The officiating was the only thing yesterday that underperformed Pat Chambers team.
The officials missed blatant walks on consecutive possessions leading to MSU 3's and then the official on the far side of the court called a soft foul on Taylor while he was posting up.
Coaches have been ejected from games for as long as they've been playing the sport. Why is this one any different?

And as far as his actions hurting recruiting??? Kids love to see their coach have their back. Saw two quotes already this morning from players saying this is why we love our coach we always know he has our back. Izzo also had a nice comment today in regards to the job Chambers is doing.
You play to win the game!!!
Re: College Hoops 2/22-2/28
I see in today's sports that Chambers "just wants to turn the page" concerning his actions during the MSU game on Sunday. He wants to move on. Hmmmm....I thought he was everybody's hero for being so "feisty", and sticking up for his players. Must have realized how bad he looked while being "escorted" off the court by his assistant coaches.

Or maybe it's as simple as they have 2 games this week and it's time to move on from something that happened 3 days ago.

Well, a reporter asked him directly about the "incident", and that's how he answered him. Maybe he's embarrassed. I mean EVERYBODY across the country saw the replay. Looked a little sheepish while giving his answer.

Uh oh. Somebody from PSU didnt fit moldos expectations. He will be on them forever now
Re: College Hoops 2/22-2/28
My expectations will be met, when we see how he is going to be reprimanded by the school or the conference for his actions.

Believe it or not, Chambers is not the first coach in the history of college basketball to be ejected and have to be restrained by assistants. There will be no suspensions by the school or the league, nor should there be. I saw John Calipari do the same thing 2 minutes into a game a few weeks ago at South Carolina. You could say that his team fed off the emotions as they went on to win by 25+ points. Obviously PSU wasn't coming back in that game but it was still nice to see Chambers stand up for his players.
