North Star and Brookville Tuesday night at 7pm in Clearfield

Post by theinfoman04 »

North Star wrestles Brookville Tuesday in Brookville...What does everyone think will happen there? I think the Cougars will win and go on to Hershey. They are a very inpressive and solid team basically all the way through. They've got many state contenders this year, Tony,Sal,Chis Lascaris',Chuck Wiltrout,Brian Furman, and possibly a sleeper in Matt Boyer or Matt Lepley. They are a great wrestling team to watch, ALL can pin and Sal Lascari is amazing on his feet. And watching Wiltrout pin people is insane! They are a solid team all around. They will represent D-5 really well. Good Luck too all teams especially the d-5 and d-6 teams---represent our area well.
info is what i give

I think North Star will beat Brookville, but it should be a close match. I really don't see North Star winning a match at 189, 215, or 275 against Brookville. It will help the Cougars that Matt Gilbert (160) will not wrestle (ACL injury) and North Star's lower and middleweights will indeed carry them. Hershey is another story all together (look for Reynolds, Bloomsburg, Mifflinburg, etc. to win the state title). I will be pulling for both North Star and Tyrone to bring home the gold, but my pick would have to be Reynolds.
