Banjo ( that's what I hear playing when you post) just because someone doesn't reply doesn't mean they aren't reading or aren't interested. I read the paper every day find it every entertaining, i never reply back, just read. Maybe you ought to give it try?

73.8 million tickets were sold to MLB fans last year, the seventh highest attendance numbers in league history.

If TV ratings are down it is more reflective of the amount of games televised. When ratings were higher there was a network game of the week and teams weren't even broadcasting half their games. Attendance was nowhere near 73.8 million.

Baseball is doing just fine.
