I don't have a problem with Johnstown playing the privates, because they have the ability to get players from anywhere!  I do have a problem with Johnstown, and for that matter, Somerset, playing smaller schools like Westmont, Richland and Cambria Heights!  Maybe the LHAC should expand and have two divisions!  One for the big schools and the privates and another for the rest!  They could pick up Hollidaysburg, Chestnut Ridge, Ligonier Valley and maybe Portage and a few others!  It would at least level the playing field!

Chestnut Ridge and Ligonier have both been in the LHAC, and cut & ran for their own reasons.

That's why you separate into two divisions!  I'm sure they would come back if they didn't have to play Johnstown and the privates!

No body had a problem with Somerset playing the small schools before, when they sucked for 20 years! It is what it is!

What I am trying to say it that it is ok for Somerset and Johnstown to play multiple teams that they outnumber by 130 boys, but mention bringing in Hollidaysburg that is a 135 more boys than Somerset and Johnstown and they don't want to hear it.  Add Chestnut Ridge and Hollidaysburg.  Divide into 2 sections -7 teams each section.
Section 1
Large Pulblic and All Private (4A, 5A, and Private)
Section 2
Small Public (2A and 3A)

Play 6 section games and 3 cross overs.
If the privates complain run the league without them 11 teams it would be perfect.
Makes too much sense!
