Westpac Week 3

Post by superstar25 »

Last week 4-1. Year to date 9-1.

Windber (1-1) at Blacklick Valley (0-2) - Windber will make it 2 wins in a row as BV is probably looking at a winless season after being handled by Ferndale. Windber 42-7.

Ferndale (1-1) at Shade (1-1) - Great job putting that 1 in the win column for the yellow jackets. Don't think they will get another this week though. Shade is playing pretty well. Shade 35-14.

Portage (1-1) at Meyersdale (1-1) - Meyersdale didn't show up last week at Berlin. They will have to have a much better effort at home or the Mustangs will roll. Portage 42-6.

North Star (0-2) at Conemaugh Township (2-0) - CT surprised me by winning at always tough Mustang stadium. Nice win there. They will have an easier time this week with the young cougars. CT 35-7.

Berlin (2-0) at Conemaugh Valley (1-1) - Not sure Berlin is going to lose a conference game this year, they clearly look like the best team in the Westpac. The only question is when someone will score on their first team defense. I say not this week. Berlin 45-0.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Ferndale/Shade game was only a TD difference.

It will be interesting to see if Ferndale can win a few more games. They seem much improved and it looks like they can throw it some.
