I have seen Clairton play in prior years but have admittedly not seen them this year. Historically they have had low numbers, I'm not sure if that's the case this year. I saw them two years ago and I counted 20 players dressed. A big physical team like BG can wear down a team that can't substitute.

They don't get a bye in the sense that they have a week off, but the winner of D7 plays in the semi-finals the next week instead of playing D-5 first like previously. D6 has the same luxury. The district winner has to win one game to get to the show.

They play 12-2 or 12-3 with everyone else playing the weekend before

Clairton had their chance at BG. If they'd take the time to learn how to kick extra points or field goals when they're up by 50 they would have won that championship.

neither district gets a bye. the D6 title game is on weekend of Nov 25/26, they will then face the winner of the D1/2/3/4 regional on Dec 2/3 in the semi.   The D7 Title game is on Nov 25/26, they then face the 5/10/9 sub winner on Dec 2/3. No bye. The D6 and D7 title games are qtr final games in states.

You and I agreed on something. I said this a while back. One game and you're in.
