The better actual football team lost in Williamsburg tonight. Now before you Ferndale people get all over me I'm not taking anything away from your team... They deserved to win and they played a very good game. What I mean by that is it was clear that Williamsburg could move the ball almost at will up and down the field. They just kept shooting themselves in the foot. They had four fumbles and two interceptions. It's hard to win a game when you turn the ball over six times. The majority of those fumbles were poor handoffs or long runs and they just dropped them at the end not because the defense did anything great to force them. In fact one of Ferndale touchdowns was a fumble that they picked up and ran back 75 yards. My hat's off to Ferndale, they certainly deserved the Victory and I wish them luck next week but for people looking at it from a scouting perspective for the ICC conference etc....Williamsburg would probably win this game if they played it 3 or 4 more times every single time it just happened to be ferndale's night.

Props to Bedford.   Big win at a tough place to get one.   Great job Coach Steele and the Bedford team.  Wish them the best of luck with knocking off another higher seeded team next week.

I respect that Aiks...  I respect you owning up to it instead of bringing up the past like Hank always does. We are talking about this year, right now. This year, right now the ICC didn't have a very good showing against a 7th place team in the Heritage and whatever place Ferndale was. In all honesty I didn't think the Heritage was that great outside of Ligonier. Apparently the other teams besides Ligonier were a little better than I thought.
Once again, what have I said?

With the regular season schedule they played, CH is one of the better teams they saw this year. That's why they didn't win by 50+. I still think the BM/BA winner beats them. I have all season.
That's a fair point, I'll give heights credit they were a tough group of kids! They were able to get some pressure on smith at times and that really was the first time he has had to deal with that to that extent. I think LVs defense is going to get them to the championship game though. They're D is tough and I think they can keep them rolling until through the championship!

As a BA fan,I don't wanna talk about Ligonier because I'm not sure we get past McCort. However if it is BA in the finals, I'm not sure they could handle Ligonier offense. That is something they haven't seen . That includes the scheme and the athletes.

I am going to assume Westmont wins today.  LV defense against a run right at you offense will be interesting.  If Westmont can run on LV they have a chance to hold the ball for literally 35 of the 48 minutes.  Is so, the game will be really close, if not it will be a blowout as Westmont has always had trouble passing and defending the pass

Homer-Center has a run at you offense and Ligonier held them to like 55 total yards of offense I believe

True.  Westmont line about 50 lbs bigger per position.  Homer should make their QB a running back.  Waste of a good athlete since they don't throw much.

you are comparing  Westmont with Homer Center.   I think that there is just a little difference between the two.
also BM beat CH 43-6 with all but one of the scores in the first half. , as that is the only comparison between the two teams that is some thing to think about.

Well, Westmont - WS 6 -6 at half. You never know which Westmont will show. The one that beat Somersrt by 4 touchdowns or the one that lost to PC by 4 touchdowns. They could very well lose today, or squeak this one out and throttle Ligonier. Very strange team to figure.
