ohhhhhh okay. Thank you!sportsfan3 wrote:ChrisKentRam you are a little confused. There are 2 Persio boys at BC. One transferred from CC to BC in 8th grade, is still there but is not playing basketball. Apparently, the one who always went to the catholic school is transferring to CC

Must have been a while ago, I know he played against my son in Jr. High and he was playing for BC at that time.

I've heard there are 45 day and 180 day sit periods being discussed for transfers but nothing official yet.CCDevil2012 wrote:I don't think you're required to sit out unless you transfer back to the school you transferred from. Elijah Benton was able to play in a football game the week he transferred this fall.

Alex Persio never went to CC until now. Josh Persio transferred in 8th grade to BC and still goes there. For now. But did not go out for basketball this yearChrisKentRam wrote: I thought the exact same thing Crimson. Kid leaves CC to go to BC because they were good. Now CC is good so the same kid transfers from BC back to CC. Interesting

I think for this year he will mostly contribute off the bench. Next year he will see a good bit of time with Nate Gillen graduating p

Overtime
BC 78
CC 86
BC was up 72-70 with 3.5 on the clock
Gillen hits it with no time left.
Alex Persio wasn't on either bench

Saltsburg is not nearly as small as you think. In fact they are probably one of if not the biggest team in the conference and possibly the district. Jake Roman 6'6 and solid 9.6 ppg 9.4 reb 2.5 bpg. Jordan booth 6'2 Derek fieling 6'3 Frank plowman 6'2 Skylar sphon 6'1 Daniel Shirley and Nick porter who are the same size both put on a lot of mass over the sumer and they both are pretty lengthy Shirley is at 11 ppg and 8 reb Nick porter is at 23 ppg and 5.1 reb a game. According to max preps but I've seen them play and there length has been a big problem for teamsChrisKentRam wrote:That's too bad for Saltsburg. They could really use some size. It won't hurt them in the conference, but in the playoffs it will be a problem. I think losing that senior from last year will hurt them more than people think. Don't remember his name, but he would play defense and rebound and do a bunch of little things that often go unnoticed.
