i like what the bucs have done this offseason. with the signings of rick reid and chris stynes to minor league deals, they could really be dangerous

Fine with me as I enjoy a good Curve game from the comfort of the outfield bleachers as much as the next man. I saw the play of the double A year sittin there no more than 5 feet from me. An outfielder from Bowie came straight back and dove face first onto the warning track and made a helluva catch. I was reaching out onto the field to catch the ball but he snatched it away from me....

No, not the Astros...

Petite is alright, but Clemens is old and washed up....There is no way that that can make them a much better team than what they were last year.....Im sure it will help, but I think that.....the Detroit Tigers signing of Ivan Rodriguez has to be the best move so far....along with the signing of Vlad Guerrero to the Angels....but the Tigers are looking to win at least 50 games this year.....

Yeah that is sad when we are talking about the tigers winning 50 games as an improvement from the previous year. It was a good signing tho, I will give them that....

there is one team out there that really blew it to me, the orioles. they had the money to sign vlad, pudge, and take a shot a maddux along w/ the guys they already have. they could be that team now that takes the place of the d-rays at the bottom of the division as lou pinella guarunteed boldly earlier today.

javy lopez is on 'roids and will have a fall off the map year because of the mandatory testing for steroids that is in effect for the year. this guys forearms grew by 10 inches in diameter compared to earlier years.

im curious about what everybody thinks of the major league steroid issue. is the testing gonna make a huge difference? do they need to be more strict? or should they just lighten up to the times?

The Orioles made a big statement getting Tejeda and Javy Lopez, but they also made a big mistake by not getting Vlad. If they wouldve gottin him the would have put up some compitetion but the Red Sox and Yanks will still been too much for them.

the tigers definetly made the biggest move getting pudge and now they have a pretty decent line up
