Just based on wins and quality. Is there a great chance for alabama to end up #1? Hell yes but they need to play some ranked teams/ keep winning to get up there.

Just saw the latest AP poll. Both PSU and Wisconsin have NOT played anyone CURRENTLY ranked in the AP top 25. Georgia,TCU, ND, Oklahoma, and Clemson have all played two top 25 opponents. And whatever may happen next week, how can you leave Ohio State out of YOUR top 10?

Alabama has lost 7 games in the last 5 plus years. Schedule whining, they don't play anybody doesn't really matter they beat top teams, average teams , and pop Warner teams. Alabama by far is the best team. For you to rank them 4th doesn't make sense.  Behind all these fly by night teams Georgia will probably lose 3 games next year,  Penn St. 4,  TCU 5 . There is no consistency with these teams. Alabama will always have that. They're by far the team to beat. It doesn't matter where, who, when they play someone they win..Oh and I hate Alabama it's just the facts..

I think michigan dropping top 25 in the AP poll was a bit much. Coaches have them 25 and your favorite sagarin has them 21.
As for ohio state not being in the top 10. The only ranked opponent they played this year was a big loss at home to oklahoma by double digits. If they beat penn state theyll move back in and penn state honestly moves out of the top 10 all together

If alabama wins out theyll be in the playoffs and id end up ranking them #1 most likely and its something i see having a great chance of happening but until they I cant rank them above undefeated teams who have played better schedules off of history

My favorite Sagarin has Ohio State ranked right now at 2nd, BEHIND Alabama. Also, I think Michigan will lose 4 regular season games this year.

He takes EVERYTHING into consideration. Head to head doesn't always mean anything. He also has Ohio State ranked ahead of Oklahoma, and BOTH have one loss.
