D6 Playoff Standings (Week 9)

Is it really that big of a deal if a 3-7 team makes playoffs??? Bottom line... they are kids. Top 6 teams make it regardless of record. They are kids, let them play 1 more game if they make the top 6 seeds. This isn't the CFP or NFL...

You're absolutely right.  This is not CFP or the NFL and is why after playing ten games in ten weeks that football season should be over for 14-15-16 and 17 year old kids who have struggled through a 3-7 season.

But in defense of the system how is anyone to know that the 6 seed this year will be 3-7 while the 6 seed next year may be 6-4? It's not an open format. Not saying a 3-7 team "deserves" to make it but also don't think the system is broken because it happened. In the end the higher seeded team just needs to take care of business and move on.

As far as Tyrone crowds go, I agree and think this was discussed previously. The last 3 times I've been to Tyrone the visiting stands were more full than the home stands and one of those was a playoff game vs Juniata 2 years ago.

Only four teams should make the playoffs.  The playoffs shouldn't last six weeks.  High school kids shouldn't be playing NFL schedules.

My question is. Since WPIAL has such a large amount of teams . Other districts have to Waite until they are done. I know it makes sense to only have two rounds of playoffs for D6, but if they have to Waite , it makes more sense to play more rounds. Am I off here?
