Thanks Red and Black. That was helpful.
So only 2 teams from D6 AA went that year. I thought that was the case. I remember Forest Hills, Mount Union, and United were all top 10 PIAA teams. That stunk for United to not even get a chance. Complete opposite of the amount of teams that make it today!

I remember they used to take 4 teams.
