In reply to Sports999, just would like to know y u have to bash Central and their fans?? The refs werent from Spring Cove School District for one and if you have been to more than one game at Central all year, you the refs have been favorable to opponents in sum instances too such as the FH game early in the year. I've been to a lot of gyms and im not saying Central fans are angels but they are not nearly as bad as some other schools I have been to.

You begin your post saying you're not one to blame things for losses and then go on to bash the refs and Central fans, I guess no other school district has bad referees or has rowdy fans. I mean come on half the time our fans are pretty calm unless something happens to make us rowdy.

For some reason you have to come on here and bash our School District and to me that is classless. I understand this messageboard is for commenting on games but to come on and pick out one school district and bash them for things that happen in other districts is uncalled for in my opinion.

I call it like I see it, and for grown people to be yelling for a player to "sit the f**k(again, put in any 2 letters you see fit) down" after fouling out of a game is nothing to be proud of if you ask me. Please try to tell me the officiating was fair when not 1, not 2 but 3 yes 3 officials just coincidentally didn't see a ball go into the basket, yet the entire gym saw it happen.

Theoneandonly, Dziabo usually does get his way when at home. There is rarely, if ever, a 3-second call made on him. He makes a living of posting up in the middle of the key for just about as long as he wants. Don't get me wrong, Dziabo is probably one of if not the best post player in the area. He did foul out of the game we played at up there, I was surprised to see it happen. He was not allowed to bang as much as usual inside, but was given that 3-second advantage.

It's about da*n time Central's fans get into the game. You see it at all the other gyms so why not Central. Central is having a good year this year and they deserve to say whatever they please if your in their gym. Mike Krider is by far the best fan in Centrals gym too. He yells and gets all the players fired up. When he is there Central plays with such more intensity. If the crowd is in it then it seems the players are in it as well.

Sports, I'll try to sound pleasant and non confrontational when I ask this but, where was your coach's scorebook keeper? And what type of classless, undisciplined and arrogant coach has the audacity to criticize a high school senior scorebook keeper, a time keeper, and an announcer because they didn't see whether a shot went in or not. You know as well as I do that one side will see it one side won't and a whole other group is watching the action on the floor and watched the foul that was committed and not where the ball went. Shame on the coach. Also, what about the discipline of the coach to allow fouled out players to get in a referee's face. Regardless of poor calls, the coach must take control.

As a coach it is our responsibility (regardless of referees, place of contest, etc. ect.) to control our behavior and that of the student-athlete. We must role model proper and appropriate behavior. Please understand my view that a coach must define their players behavior irregardless of the circumstances. I feel very deeply about this because I think that its so important. So for that coach to criticize three people for not doing or seeing what they aren't responsible for is just plain stupid, there's no other way to say it.

Since you keep bringing up the sit the f down statements. Funny that 99% of people there didn't seem to hear it. Maybe it was a phantom voice offering retribution for the previous game between these two team when up at your place signs were held displaying the score of this year's football game, where that student section was inappropriate. Remember that or will we conviniently leave that out? I guess that its this for that, at least its over for this year. I wish you and your team the best of luck for the rest of the year and hope you do the same for ours. Once again thanks for the civility in your comments and retort as it makes this board all the more legitimate.

Sports999, it seems in the posts you've made in this topic, you keep bringing back about the "phantom shot". From what I've heard, Central beat you by more than 2 points (which is how much one basket counts for). So it doesn't have an effect of the outcome.
If you wanna bring up a point that ur guys couldn't get into the game after that, then I say if they're a good team, they use something like that as aggression and play even harder to prove that they could still win. Obviously that wasn't the case. Just throwing in my take on all this...

I'm not going to bring this back up, but the momentum did swing after that and a previously non-factor crowd was aroused.

Frankly I think your crying about something you can't change. Central won and Central Cambria lost. Thats the final and goodnight. It was a great win for Central and Coach Forshey for the fact that Central Cambria's players are very cocky. (Good win guys)
