8 of 11 teams in AA is ridiculous. Last year AAA did 6 which I think is the perfect number. Rewards the best 2 teams by letting them heal up a little bit with a bye but doesn’t eliminate a team or 2 that might have a .500 year but got upset and misses out on a 4 seed as a result.

Yea and then you have 3-7 teams making playoffs...

I think last year was the exception to the rule in AAA. A lot of teams had down years all at once last year.   The way this year starts out I could see 6 teams being .500 and only 4 getting in.

4 teams make the regular season much more exciting. We don’t need to start giving everybody a participation trophy now.

How is BC double A and BG single A? Don’t tell me enrollment...2 years ago BC didn’t have enough kids in their football team to scrimmage in practice.

Playing up was BC’s choice and/or stipulation to getting into the Mountain League.
