I never said anything about the starters playing. My issue is with adults humiliating teenagers, so yeah i guess my issue is with the coach.  I think the players are great.  In fact I know its taboo here to pick against the LHAC, but I think they deserve to be ranked above Richland.

I fail to see how the coaches humiliated the PL players by having the starters play a single third quarter possession. I’m sorry, I’m just not making the connection here. I get some of the stuff in the past, but not last night. Also, they are ranked above Richland.[/font]

Dino 1270 posted that. Not me. Read a little closer. Passing to break records when you are up 40 or 50 could be seen as rubbing it in. A lot of teams wouldn't do that. Just saying.

Here's the scoop. In college, it might help to run up the score. The more impressive the victory, the higher you may move up in the polls. In high school rankings though, you get the same points for wins, whether you win in a blowout or just by ONE. This is what happened to Bishop Carroll years ago in the Appalachian conference. They kept destroying everyone. Then they were not invited into the Heritage or West-pac because of it. Teams remember these kind of things.

Spot on Coach Foust! I get sick of the crap! When LV wasn’t on top of the Heritage you never heard a word. The LHAC has teams in every classification up to AAAA. You never hear a word from anyone saying that JHS should move to a conference with schools of the same size! The Heritage Conference has no plans to boot the Rams. If they decided to take that action, would they ask Marion Center and West Shamokin to leave?

I agree but I remember a couple of years ago when LV was going for a state championship they were complaining about how the lack of competition in the heritage conference was hurting them . You can't have it both ways !!!

The LHAC drug its feet for quite awhile before finally welcoming Johnstown.

Unless the LHAC decides to boot another Bishop I don’t see them inviting LV back.

That leaves the WPIAL.

I think there was a time when some in the WestPAC thought its only AA school and the time, North Star, should have been playing elsewhere.  That didn’t last long.

People can complain about LV and their conference. But it’s also a two way street . There needs to be a conference that wants them. Plus they have to think of sports other than football . Same thing is said about Bellwood and ICC.

If "they" is the football program, you're wrong. We've never complained who we played. Never.
