but also look at the post season, he could have been alittle banged up and why bother wrestling someone thats gonna give you a tough match when you can play it safe this late in the season. Maybe he's just saving himself for districts, and more than likely it was a coaches decision.
Wrestlers" The best kind of people in the world. The cockiest,dirtiest, most irresponisble group of athletes in the universe. Will get with any broad and come back and tell all his buddies about it. Will booze at least 2 times a week and pretend they are still dedicated. Not afraid to live the dream untill they are 35 then realize they never made it anywhere. Ladies Love us. Guys want to be us. We are the soul of the universe.

I'll just post my "mommy" two cents and say 160 is going to be a fun weight to watch at districts. There's a lot of good strong wrestlers, young ones and seniors, at that weight. And there's a lot of close matches in the past between them where the wins have been close. I guess that's what wrestling is all about. I certainly get no joy in watching someone get 'teched.
As to weighing in and running from a wrestler.........we all know that's usually the coaches decision. I take a seat many times to find my kid come out at a different weight than I expected that day. (and not always because he didn't make weight
)
When CT wrestled Meyersdale I was hoping to see Bert and Bowker go at it again, as they each won one against each other last year, and Bowker had jumped a weight. Oh well. For whatever reason it happened, I know I missed seeing a good match.
And I doubt many coaches around allow their kids to show up and tell THEM what the roster will look like!
Looking forward to districts -
