Westinghouse is far more talented. Berlin is tough and played hard. Hats off to em. Great season. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to bedford. WH should be the favorite to win AA.

Farrell might have something to say about that.

I'm sure they will. I should have said "a" favorite not "the" favorite. But I was really impressed.

Berlin really just looked sloppy and out-coached. Westinghouse is clearly the better team but I don't think it would be normally such a large margin. So many missed tackles and letting receivers get wide open. Yes, Berlin was beat a lot by Westinghouse's receivers but Berlin seemed to let them run right past before giving chase. I feel a more "normal score between these teams would be 42-21 in favor of Westinghouse. But that's me being biased.

The real question is where does WH go from here? Next week should be an easy game for them, then I believe they get likely the 2A game of the year against Farrell. If they manage to survive that they will get the Champion of D7 in the west finals. After that it's likely BG or Southern Columbia, both of which are current powerhouse dynasties yet on a downtrend. SCA losing stars to graduation and losing their best player this season really hurt their record but the star is back for a run for a title, can he shake the rust and perform? BG moving up to AA and beating a very solid Richland team. The BG teams of a few years ago likely could have won A, AA, and AAA titles when there were only four classes.... but is this team good enough to win AA? I don't think so. I see the west with a pretty easy win over the east..

So you are saying that Berlin ranked 8th is 50 points worse than the #2 team.
If you are ranked that high, should you at least put up some fight.

How many blowouts have we seen in the state championship games? When you're that good, you're that good.
