A Big East Team Will Make it to the Final Four...

I don't believe Syracuse was a good foul shooting team last year and they did pretty well. When Pitt got knocked out by Marquette last year their FT shooting was not a factor in their loss.
Pitt has had very few cake walks in their Big East schedule. They are being tested in just about every game. There are probably a few dozen teams capable of making it to the final 4. It will come down to who is playing their best at tournament time and what bracket you get put in. Pitt works well together and plays good D. Anyone can have a poor shooting night, but if the Panthers play together and play intense D, they will have a good chance of getting to the final 4.

A few dozen teams are capable of making the final 4 huh? I'm going to have to disagree here. But for the heck of it... who are your "few dozen" teams?

Granted that most years it's the major teams that make it to the final four, but that doesn't mean lesser known teams are not capable of making it to the final 4 if they click at the right time. You have to look no further than Marquette last year.
Considering that the big boys this year have been knocked off by unranked teams (Duke lost to Purdue, Kentucky lost to Georgia twice, UConn lost to Notre Dame, Pitt lost to Seton Hall). If unranked teams can beat top 10 teams, then I would say that the list of teams "capable" of going to the final four is rather extensive. I wouldn't bet on many of these teams to get there, but I would have never bet on Marquette last year either.
