i believe i also said 99% of the time...which means that they dont win every single time, they are only human and CAN lose on any given day, but most of the time they will be victorious...make sure u read everything before u argue against it buddy

So you want to stick to 99%? I wonder how many D6 teams would be North Star? I wonder how many D6 teams would be CT in soccer? Windber has beaten their share of D6 teams in football and basketball over the years. I think Bedford has beaten a few D6 teams over the years in wrestling and football. I think your girls CC team has beaten quite a few D6 teams the last few years.

I'm not arguing that D5 is better than D6, but to say that D6 will beat D5 ("all schools in all sports") is ridiculous.

FACT....District 5 is the worst district in the state. They should combine us with some other district. Or put Som. Co. with D7 and Bed. and Fult. with D6. Our district not only is tiny in land area, but tiny in number of schools and number of students.

Just a side not though, to boost the confidence of all D5ers: In my 3 years of qualifying for the state tournament in wrestling, D5 dominated my weight class. As a sohpomore, there were two D5 state qualifiers, one from D6, and one from D7; Jr. year- D5 had 2, D6 had 0, D7 had 2; Sr year- D5 had 3, D6 had 1; D7 had 1.

the only problem with combining districts would mean so. fulton, fannet metal, and such schools would have to travel to places like clearfield and beyond. but i agree, d5 is almost a waste of energy, the only thing its good for is allowing another team to win a district title and make the state playoffs. but in all honesty, its still a waste

How can you judge districts..youd need to have equal people on both sides in order for it to be fair. Carrol in football??Who can beat them, not even Pittsburgh teams, hmm wonder why?? And all those schools you mentioned are huge. The only really big school in somerset county is Somerset, everything else here is tiny. We dont have much to draw from.

You forgot one sport gunner. Forbes Road Field Hockey team wins D6 almost every year. Since few others in D5 have field hockey Forbes has to play in D6 but they still win almost every year. But, Gunner you are right about most of the other sports.
