Everett's Layoff

Post by CalleighDuquense »

How do the Everett faithfull feel about the 1 week plus layoff for them. It is a nice break but a team can get a little rusty going that long without a game. I believe they play next Wednesday, the winner of the CT game.

I think that as long as Hedrick keep the practices a little tough and the boys keep their heads up and come out strong, they'll be okay. Wish you all the luck boys*

a week off is no big deal, its a chance for teams to get healthy and relax a little bit before the big games, but u still practice, so u wont get out of shape in just a week ... the week off is a nice little advantage for the 1 and 2 seeds

Although this is Coach Hedricks first post-season trip into the semi's he's been around long enough that he's experienced other Everett playoff runs and will know how to keep a proper balance of rest (keeping fresh legs), hard-work, and preparation for Twp. They'll do fine and I don't anticipate any problems due to the layoff. They play next Tuesday, not Wednesday.

I wish Everett the best. They just need to keep their heads in the game and play tough. They have a lot of talent on the court and they can go far if they just stay strong.
