Whats wrong with being cocky? Personally I like seeing people that are cocky... as long as they can back it up. It kinda gives them a psychological edge over someone in some aspects.

Packerfan,

Why are you complaining about how cocky a wrestler was? When a grappler goes the whole season undefeated and wins the OW award at States, who cares how cocky he may be perceived, he's pretty much earned it, don't you think?

What did Kirsch's "old man" ever do to you?

Also, there is a spellcheck button underneath the text posting box, feel free to begin using it.

first off, this a forum for opinions, and im entitled to mine whether you like it or not. second of all, IN MY OPINION, you dont have to be cocky to be good, there is not such thing as earning it. garretts not, and id like to see someone say that he isnt the better of the two of them. and as for the spellcheck....is thhat god enuf fur u?????? ive heard better insults in 3rd grade.

I agree with packerfan that Kisch is one of the cockiest wrestlers. He could take a few lessons from garret not only on wrestling but also about being humble and keeping ego toned down a few notches. I also know that he isn't benching 500lbs maybe his own body weight. (300 lbs)

so say hypothetically that a sr. that has gotten pinned every time hes stepped on to the mat has just as much to be cocky about as a sr. that pinned every guy he went up against? thats basically what ur saying. and i never said that being cocky was bad, just as long as they can back it up, the thing about cockiness i hate is that alot of people that are cocky, cant back it up. and all i said was that almost all wrestlers are cocky, which they are! u may not see it, but trust me they are!

I can think of a ton of guys this weekend that I watched who aren't cocky...

There are more who aren't cocky than there are who are cocky.

its only obvious that those who think that most good wrestlers are cocky were n ever good at anything, cause if they knew what it was like to win, they would see that being cocky isnt as great as being humble

u can be humble and cocky, i guess i should have worded this differently, confidence and cockiness r seperated by a very fine line, so i guess that they r so confident that it makes them appear cocky
