NS also has some good shotters without Shubik, I dint see the game but i know NS has a much better defense than Ridge has plus NS has a couple more inches in height advantage over Windber. Windber can shoot but if they are pressured like NS likes to do, they wont be able to shoot that good.
windber hasnt been that good this season ... i dont think they are even that good of shooters .. they have kitcho who is a really good athlete and will hit alot of shots, hes a good slasher/pull up jump shooter ... but the rest of the team is pretty rough... yeah they have a couple kids who if you leave them open can knock down a shot or two, but overall i dont see them having the man-power to stop the cougars
I wouldnt count windber out because i dont think there is anyone who can stop kitcho and if he puts up the game that he can and shubik doesnt do so well then windber has a CHANCE even if that happens they arent the favorites because North Stars supporting cast is better than windbers....windber can do it but I wouldnt count on it
I would have to agree, Windber does not have much of a chance at North Star. Shubik is just too good. I really can't believe Windber has won so many games this year with the team they have. Kitcho is good but the rest of the team is pretty bad. Even at that, Kitcho wouldn't be a superstar on many other teams. 13 wins for a bunch of JV players is an outstanding accomplishment. 13-13 would be unblievable for this Windber team.
I saw Windber play at CC this year and get stomped by about 50 points, and it looked like it could be a shutout when CC went up 24-0 before stopping their fullcourt pressure. I will take NS by 25 based solely on that game.
