SouthWest big matchups !!!
What weight class would you say that has the most kids that are ranked in the state?
I cant wait to see how everything stands come the end of this week. Should be some great wrestling. Good Luck to all.

Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.

I see your point with 125 and 275. That is if you put a whole lot of creed into rankings...
A lot of the time rankings are based on records and not on actual ability. I know for a fact that there are certain coaches (in district 7, for example) that think that it is better to inflate the kids' records rather than to wrestle competition...Thus entrance in the Steel Valley Tournament!!!!
What I mean with 119 being stacked at regionals is that there are sooooo many kids who are at the same exact caliber. I don't necessarily mean that it is stacked for States, but for competition at regionals, it will be some good wrestling and can go any which way!!! Warnock beat Marks...Marks beat Guthrie...Guthrie beat Warnock...Vanella beat Pisano who beat Marks. I know these are all from district 7...we haven't even thrown Valko and Lascari into the mix.
At 275 and 125, you have your clear cut best wrestlers...Maraldo and Beatty may be ranked...but are not quite the caliber of Tate, Neese, Strayer and Scott...........

112 has Whetstone (ranked #2 and state placer), Snyder (ranked #3 and state runner-up), Dolan (freshman ranked #6), Holt (ranked #7 and state placer), Kusich (ranked #12 and state qualifier). Not to mention Paronish who only has one loss, and Houseware who lost a close match to Snyder. This has got to be the deepest weight in the region.
