HR: why don't districts swap officials for playoff games? Get a crew from D7 to D9 to do the playoff games so there isn't even the implication of bias. This year at one of varsity football games Fish had to get a replacement crew at the last minute. They were from D7 (I think-Kitanning!) and did a nice job. No garbage because no one knew these guys and they never heard of either team!

Kendall is a nice lady and a huge asset to McConnellsburg and the game of bball. As an official, I don't know. A player could get mauled under the hoop and no call will be made but she loved to call the handcheck on the slightest of contact in the backcourt.

I know she had health problems and is a nice lady but not a good official. She wants to talk to fans, coaches, players too much. she slows the game way down. (I know I have faults as a coach, just giving my two cents). again, nice lady and person but not an official.

Paw....very good idea (swapping officials) In fact D5 brought in D6 officials for a TM vs Evt title game one year. This is what they do in state playoffs. Example, D5 crew did last years Mt. Union vs Wilkinsburg game (6 vs 7)...D6 crew did last years N.Star vs Wilkinsburg second round game (5 vs 7)--And Note the side jab at D6 that our AA teams go further!!--but I'm guessing...and this is only a guess....that it's an ego thing....D6 thinks there better and so they'll use their officials...wouldn't want to be "stuck" w D5 officials in playoffs now would they, same thing in D7, they feel there the best in the west so why "lower" themselves to D5,6,10 officials.

Interesting that someone mentioned Correlle going to D6, Piatek is in D6, Cornelius is in D6, young guy from Windber is D6 ref (can't think of name...military type haircut...wife is F.Hills Head Womens Coach)...why are all these good officials who could be D5 candidates in D6??? I don't know answer, anyone have any ideas?

Plank Road??? Help?

POINTS WELL SPOKEN TO MY PREVIOUS POST. JUST ONE MORE QUESTION ON THE ISSUE. HOW CAN ANYBODY BESIDES KOPP, DONALDSON, PRICE, BARD OR ANYBODY ELSE BREAK THE SOMERSET COUNTY STRANGLE HOLD WHEN NOT GIVEN A CHANCE??

AS FAR AS YOUR LAST POST. I ONLY AM AWARE OF CORNELIUS. I DON'T WANT TO SPEAK FOR HIM, BUT I THINK HIS INVOLVEMENT IN D 6 IS TWO FOLD. 1.) THAT IS THE AREA WHERE HIS DAD STARTED OFFICIATING AND WHEN HE JOINED HE WORKED WITH HIS FATHER, A REAL SPECIAL TREAT. 2.) I THINK HIS AD WORK IN D 5 MIGHT PROVIDE SOME CONFLICT IN HIS MIND AND OF OTHERS JUST LIKE IT HAS BEEN MENTIONED ABOUT KK IN MCBURG, YOU AT NBC, AND OTHERS IN THE PROFESSION THAT HAS SOME CONNECTIONS TO A PARTICULAR SCHOOL.

NICE TALKING TO YOU ON THIS MATTER! :D
