byer didnt shoot the ball very well but neither did shubik. he was held in check for most of the game except a span where he hit 3 or 4 straight 3's.

I was looking forward to the big showdown but was disapointed by both of them, scoring wise. In warmups, neither could miss a bucket but were off come game time. Still impressed with Shubik though. Not D1 impressed but anyway.

Neri shut down byer...hands down. The game was good and the cougars pulled it off..ryan druist made 2 clutch threes to help shubik who was off but hit some amazing shots to bring the game to an end...good luck to bot teams in the 1st round

Yes, Neri did hold Byer down in the scoring aspect of the game. Which his shooting was off. but I 'll say it again, I was pretty impressed with Byer's unselfish play and being able to distribute the ball on his penetration.

I think byer palyed good D but byer just took really bad shoots. if he would have been a little more selective and maybe went to the hole a little more i think he would have had a better game.

you guys r right...byer did have a good game with his passing and penetration...but you still gotta step your whole game up when your your teams go to player...shubik stepped up when he needed to and byer just couldnt handle the pressure from neri and the cougars and thats y i feel he didnt play that good over all
