i heard that the bills and the packers are trying to trade up to get eli manning. Both are prob trying to have a backup QB that will learn the system for when bledsoe or favre retire.

also some teams should consider drafting penn states kick off specialist. maybe 5th or 6th round. What team couldnt use a guy that can kick the ball out of the back of the endzone. Even backing up 5 yrds to the 30 to kickoff he would still kick it deep into the endzone. i think the kids name is kimball? im not sure but if you could get him late in the draft he would be a real steal.

The question about him would be could he kick field goals too.??? Cause a teams not going to waste a pick on a guy just for kick offs. If he can kick field goals too, then hed be a steal

penn state has 2 of the best kickers ive seen. and they can both do kickoffs and fg's so thats not a problem

i am a packer fan and i can honestly say that the packers could use a pick on just a kickoff guy. Longwell can hit from 50 and in but can barely get the ball inside the 10 on the kickoff. Even if they would happen to draft him he could kick off and kick field goals from outside the 50. I can honestly say that if they draft kimball i would be happy.

kimball i would say has the best leg of any body coming out in the draft this yr. his accuracy kicking fg's makes it unlikely somebody would take him as their primary kicker. like england says, he would best fit in a role where he does kickoffs and fg's from 50+. was it the game against ohio state where he had a chance at like a 60yd'r at the end of the game and just missed???

yeah that was him it was 61 yds i think and he was short by about a yd. They said he got under it a little bit because he didnt want it blocked. Who knows if he can hit the long one in the NFL. Even if no one drafts him he could be a steal as an undrafted free agent.

Penn State's other kicker, Robbie Gould is not bad either.

nfl draft

Post by football55 »

i don't think anyone will use a pick on a kicker.kimball will proably be pick up as a undrafted player.green bay needs to get a qb in this draft.how much more can favre take?
