Pennwood Basketball Tournament

Wow, I didnt realize that teams came from so far away for this tournament. That's great to see that the interest is there and the kids get a chance to compete against different teams that they dont normally come up against, such as the team from West Virginia.

Congratulations to the Chestnut Ridge team that took first. From what I've been told, it was a good game. Too bad I couldnt make it out for the tourney this year :frown:

It was on Saturday March 6 at the Pennwood Bible Church near Everett. The competition was very good, and what was really nice is that i paid five dollars for two shirts, all the food i wanted, and I also got to play and win in the tournament. It is a very popular tournament, two teams from Petersburg West Virginia came to play in each division I believe.

I wish i would have known about it before. I could have gotten a team from Nothern Bedford together. We're always looking for people to play.

We should organize a summer leagure at local outdoor courts. IM me if anyone is interested.

Nah!!!! There wasnt any girls games played when I was there and I didnt see to many!!! So im figuring there wasnt a nig enough turn out.. Cus i heard there was suppose to eb a girls tourney but there wasnt one played..
