I had heard a rumor a few weeks ago of AJ Nastasi getting the job and his father as an assistant, not sure.

That would be awesome. Central's football program would turn around fast with that coaching staff.

AJ applied, but did not get the job. He is going to be going somewhere else as an assistant, but I'll let him say where. It isn't NBC though..... He will be in a great place though

I think Hoenstine is the front runner for the job. It's a shame the Nastasis won't be getting the job.

AJ Hoenstine is the new and very well deserved Central Head Coach.
"Some time, Rock, when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys - tell them to go in there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock. But I'll know about it, and I'll be happy."

A.J. Hoenstine was anounced as Centrals head coach last night at the board meeting. Now we will have to wait and see who he picks as his assistants.

AJ Hoenstine is the most deserving person of the job. The whole team is pumped that we have him. He is a great coach and also a great mentor to all the players. He will be very successful the the coming years and CHS football will once again be a contender. AJ is a great guy that loves all the players. Looking forward to playing for him.
