I've seen a lot of teams taking Georgia Tech pretty far. I don't know much about them. Who are the stars on that team?

If you werent blinded by Pitt and the Weak East you would know some of the guys on GT's team.

B.J. Elder is almost as dangerous from behind the arc as Duke's J.J. Redick, infact he was in the ACC tourney.
Isma'il Muhammed is the 'human highlight real'. he can literally jump out of the arena. Surely you had to see him on SportsCenter at somepoint this year, and to round off the sensational underclassmen Jarrett Jack has got it all. They had run the whole game with Duke untill Duke hit a hot streak and the Yellowjackets hit a cold one opening the game to 20 points. GT has a great chance to go to the final four this year, and as it turns out, so do Wake and NC State as well as Duke  I can not wait till thursday to get the tourney under way. I also picked Manhattan over Florida, Pacific over Providence, Texas Tech over St. Joes, and Southern Illinois is a huge upset over Stanford. And Pitt WILL NOT make it out of the first weekend this year. A second round loss to Wisconsin will send the panthers packing for home early this year. :cheesy:

youre forgetting luke schenture who is their 7' 1" center. He could cause a lot of problems for small teams. He handled Shelden Williams when GT beat Duke and that is no easy task.

Schensure is a very very erratic player, he played well against Duke in Cameron, but sat on the bench for most of the game during the ACC semi's due to foul trouble. He is a nice addition, but a tall white aussie wont get the job done come tourney time.

who would of thought Horvath would have gave Duke quality minutes during the ACC tourney. It could be the same way as that. Ill admit he may not be the best player on their team but he could make a huge difference.

During this time of year alot of unknown players become household names by what they do in the tourney and the effect they have on the outcome of the team. Horvath and Melchioni for Duke both put in valuable time for the bluedevils this ACC postseason. Be on the look out for teams like last years Marquette. (Southern Illinois, hint hint)GOTTA LOVE THE MADNESS MARCH BRINGS EACH YEAR!!!

the team to watch out for that people odnt talk about is Michigna State....they got a pretty easy bracket and should make it pretty far.....as for Pitt getting the 3 seed....the should have been 2 but oh well....cry about it

Yes, Michigan State should make it pretty far. If you consider winning one game far.

yea, i dont like mich. st either. granted they played the top non conference scheduele, did they win any of those games tho? i dont think so. i actually think nevada can beat them. honestly, the only big ten team i have winning their opening game is wisconsin. the big ten was weak w/ a capital W this year.

to me, the team to watch in st louis is BC. i think they could definately beat GT and gonzaga and make the elite 8. kentucky seems to be the class of that region overall though and would be very tough to pick against.
