whats anyone think of state high basketball? state semifinal game coming up wednesday, anyone think they have a chance?
The name on the front of the jersey is more important than the one on the front, unless its an Altoona jersey. Then neither name is important
State College has a very good chance. Having seen both Penn Hills and State College this year, it should be an excellent game. The teams match well against each other. Penn Hills is more athletic but State plays a more deliberate error free style.
State needs a big game out of W. Morse to win. A 6 or 8 point output from him spells doom for the Little Lions. A favorable draw for State playing at the Altoona Fieldhouse IMO makes them a 3 point favorite.

Good analysis Von Cap. The other factor is Akida McClain, Penn Hills 6'8 Boston College bound superstar. Will Eric Meister be able to at least keep him in check? McClain going wild spells doom just as much as St. Bonnie walkon-to-be Morse not getting a big effort would.
I've seen both as well and Penn Hills has the better athetes and overall team but they don't shoot particularly well from outside and they've been known to "tank it" for long periods (Quarters) at a time.

yea, i agree with both of you, rodie that guys name is eric meister btw, hes an absolute monster, seeing him match up should be interesting, our school already has 3 busloads of kids going up tomorrow, so it should be good. yea, morse better have a good game or were screwed, as kanaskie should.
