Personally I think home field has nothin to do with it because when you go play at another schools field you want to beat them just as much as you do at your field and maybe alil more just to make them mad because its there own field..
I myself like playin at other fields just for the simple fact that it makes them twice as mad if you beat them on there own turf.

but if u have a good home field atmosphere, it makes it special to win there....i know for bedford, playing under the lights on one of the best fields around w/ the student section in the corner is just awesome to win there.
