Claysburg had a sprinter who competed individually back around 1982 by the name of Jill Brumbaugh who qualified for the state semifinals in the 200 I believe. She (Jill) was more famous for her basketball skills as she went to U.Conn. on a full ride and played for the Lady Huskies. Probably other than Krista Jay (and maybe even including her--considering in that era there was no WNBA or Womens League in Europe) the best HS girls basketball player out of a small school ever in this area.
