the ridge outfielders are most definately a huge asset to our team. our outfielders catch everything hit their way. then again our infield is playing pretty well this year also and with our superb pitching by saxman and berg we will be pretty decent if we keep it up. Id have to say our weekest point is our hitting caus one game we can score 20 runs of a good pitcher and the next only 5 on a pitcher not even half as good. but other than that our team is doing pretty decent

Mark Saxman didn't have his best stuff against NBC yesterday but still pitched very effectively. Rather than trying to force his fast ball, he went to more off speed pitches and let his fielders do more of the work. Both he and Berg have shown maturity and intelligence on the mound to go with their obvious physical skills.

Kelbi is a heck of a good baseball player. I believe Coach May should let him play somewhere else, if it is 1st or 3rd. He should also be able to hit when he pitches!.....

How about those lions win anotehr tonite over bullscreek after 6 innings nick hernacame hit the winning run in for the lions and Brock Manges had 3 hits including a double. Willie harbaugh is in a slump right now but he should come along really well, kelbi berg did good throwing a 3 hit shut out maybe 4 hits but 3 sounds better, and had six strikeouts. the outfield really looked good as spiker made a nice grab keeping ridge in it. Ridge infield keep up to there potential as kohler made a good first start as short stop. chad manges did well at 3rd base, and brock manges sorta had a slump throwing a lot of low balls, but all together ridge runners look good and they go to tussey on friday....Ridge is now 7-0

Ridge should have a really good team this year. But Bedford should be good as they have Seth Roy who is one heck of a pitcher. Northern Bedford has a good team and Dylan Snowberger really helps them out with his bat, Everett should have an okay team......Who do u think the Best Pitcher is
A. Kelbi Berg(Chestnut Ridge)
B. Seth Roy(Bedford)
c. Dylan Snowberger(NBC)
D. Mark Saxman(chestnut ridge)

And who do u think has the top infield
A. Chestnut Ridge
B. Northern Bedford
C.Bedford
D.claysburgh
E. Everett

What plans do these boys have for playing summer baseball?

Sounds like they would benefit from travelling to some sanctioned tournaments.

Saxman, Spiker, and I (Josh Kohler) plan to play summer league. I am about 90% sure that Harbaugh and Berg are playing. The Mangeses should play, but most likely won't. I would love to play in a sanctioned tournament--but I don't know where any of them are held.

When he is healthy Nathan Hauer is tough to beat.

Ridge can put different players around the horn and still be a tight defensive unit.

Slaw, have your Dad check in the Pittsburgh area.

Also on the internet check out Federation Baseball. They have teams throughout the state.

It may mean some travel but it will be great fun and you will develop your skills by playing with and against some top talent.

Let me know how you make out.

Mr. May could possibly provide some insight as well.

Will do. I think it would be really fun to play against, or for teams like that.
