Lhac...
Johnstown / Forest hills / CC/ BC... look for those teams on the top
2 things 1. Talent 2. experience....Westmont = always good but I see a down season due to the only returning starters are Polantz and Thompson and Polantz wasnt really a impact performer
Richland = ehh no talent what so ever...Central = losing too much...bedford = Troy harris yeah probably the best player in area next year, but bedford the fact remains will bedford ever run a winning program...McCort = Great but Sometimes play like the refs owe them something and let the stripes controll the game rather than winning the games for them selves...Penn Cambria = tominselli is the player with game closest to that of X. Thomas but he isnt X and Penn Camrbia isnt jtown...Camrbia Heights... 6'7 Forward is back I heard? but even the biggest teams have had problems when ball cant reach the other end of the court...Somerset = I think they just discovered basketball yesterday....they are the best example of an Expansion team
Westpac...
I really See CT as favorites...but I look at the top 5 teams in westpac as CT/ CV/ NS/ Shanksville/ Ferndale...
1. Each of the first 3 teams always have a great program...shanksville has been a contender last year in varsity and JV playing like a championship team beating teams like CT...and Ferndale is a suprise but yes they will be competition...they are returning 3 2 starters and both starters were leaders on the team...Blacklick=talent is dropping...shade = talent is dropping...rockwood = not really a contender...berlin = a decent team but dont see them in the running mix...portage definately right there with ferndale but randy spaid isnt a drew shubik and carries his team threw the westpac...
Heritage...
2. 2 teams Blairsville, Saltsburg....Joey Reed or w/e his name is and even better adam highburger...who scores 32 points in first half against Penns manor honestly? he was the best sophomore around and he is definately the best in heritage...but the heritage is definately I think the best conference as to competative teams to horrible teams and you can tell by homer Center making it to the D6 champions after CV was Cheated and had to play in a heritage school in OT by horrible heritage refs who call a touch foul with 1.5 seconds left but PM, HC, MC, Ligonier are all in the mix only team I cant see playing for anything would be united but are they ever?

"Ferndale is a suprise but yes they will be competition"
if im correct .. i believe....
the only reason they're listed is because they beat you guys towards the end of this years season, ruining your westpac championship dreams... keep dreamin....
i say twp is going to be tough, but andy byer DEF. needs to work on his game, he saw this year that he isnt as good as thought of and he's not a leader who will step up and win games... if he can do that, twp will be tough
north star i'd put as a best all around team ... they have no star coming back ...no shubik.. but with mignogna and hornick being 2 returning starters, and shank and ryan who each started a few games, especially before new-comer nerri... they will be hard to beat.... they're biggest downfall is no star, no roll guy, no clutch player... they have to collectively put up #'s everynite since they wont have their 25 per game player
valley should be tough, lupek should be able to step it up for them ... i dont see a whole lot of help for him, but he's a good player, i'd say he's def. cv's fynest current player...... hopefully some j.v. help can give him something to work with....
shanksville should be tough.. they were a tough little school this year, and they are only losing a couple... look out for shanksville to take some teams by surprise, or just beat them expectingly....
spaid cant carry portage
no other teams have a carrier...
windber how ever will be good returning all starters, in fact ... all the team, with kitcho leading the way ... they will be undersized but tough....
im saying another ns-shanksville westpac...
and im not sure yet who to place for the districs...

Lol sorry you are Mistaken ferndale came close to beating CV never beat CV check the records and the only team that beat us towards the end was North Star in a hard fought game....4 games in 1 week and they were all must wins and we lost the last 1....thas what ruined our westpac hopes....
So basketball101 sorry but no it was NS who beat us.....I think people shoudl really watch games more often than looking at stats because its not always the person with the points and #s who dominate its the people who have the biggest effect on the game....dwell on that one
I think you shoudl check the record books before posting from now on because the last time we played Ferndale in the season we beat them by 31...portage did beat us...but not ferndale, so take a deep breath and regain your composure and try posting again...and who byer is as good as he says, every1 is entitled to a bad night after all CV lost to portage and NS lost to Derry so if byer only has 4 points thats byer and hes def a good player0

my fault .. i thought ferndale did beat you toward the end, i even asked someone to make sure, i gues they need to check the books too, cuz they agreed with me .... now i never said byer wasnt good.... but u cant say his season and his game wasnt a let down this year... c'mon, the whole hype was always who's better shubik or byer .... i'd say the question then turned to who's better kitcho or byer, or even other players to byer.... byer has so much potential but he needs to pick up some characteristics like leading a team and taking control, and he needs to work on his game... right now his game consists of running off pick after pick for the open shot cuz he cant create on his own, and we saw that with a good defender on him (neri) he got shut down twice..... he's a good player but no where near where he could/should be yet.... we'll just see if he works on the off-season...
I know you never said byer wasnt good, and ill state right now kitchko is probably better than byer in the fact that kitchko controls the game by his self when he needs to, byer is a great player and will soonhit 2000 points...but i dont think that it was 100% neri that stopped byer because unlike football Great offense beats great defense example Oklahoma state against Pitt...i think that the whole 4 point thing was bad shot selection and just a down game for the kid, but 1 game doesnt make the career...

i know that the north star games dont make it a career for him. he obviously averages more than 4 a game since he's gonna be a 2000+ scorer this year... but it was more than one game, the previous game neri held him to just 7 .... all im sayin is for him to truely play at the degree he is expected to play at, and that any 2000 pt scorer should play at, he needs to work on basketball, and maybe worry a little less about football and baseball for next year...

Yes definately a person who has the potential to play at a high level every night and is expected to should be, I think as he looks back now I think that he would do a lot things different and he realizes that he wouldnt have had 7 and 4...i garauntee the worst game he has this yera will be no less than 15 because not only is he experienced just those stats there are anuff to drive a man to success esp a man like andy
