The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

College Football's worst major program....VANDERBILT, they are an embarassment to the otherwise strongest conference in the land, the SEC.
College Basketball....Northwestern or Penn State.

the tampa bay bucs when they first came into the league. they were 0-14 or something like that. Even the worst football team should be able to win at least one game.

The Tampy Bay Bucs lost their first 26 games in the NFL in the 1976 and 1977 seasons I think. In fact, when asked about the execution of his squad one day after a recent loss, Coach McKay said, "I'm for it." Their first win was against New Orleans on December 11, 1977, by a margin of 33-14. Hank Stram, the coach of the Saints declared, "It's the worst experience of my coaching career. We're ashamed of our people, our fans, our organization."
Oh, and three college football teams. First is the Cumberland College football team of 1916, which lost to Georgia Tech 222-0, and to Seminole college 100-0. Second, the Macalaster College Scots of 1974-1980. During this span of time, they set a record by losing 50 straight football games. Finally, the Northwestern Wildcats of 1976 to 1982 set a Division I record by losing 34 straight before beating Northern Illinois during the fourth game of their 1982 season.

The Detroit Lions around 3 years ago. That team was terrible. They have to rank up there as one of the worst teams ever. They almost went winless. I can't remember whether they won one or two games last year. I just know that it wasn't until the clear end of the season that they won.

2003-2004 Pittsburgh Penguins are right up there and any Nascar team that had Brett Bodine as a driver would be tops on the list as well.
