Blue/White game

Post by packerfan »

just got back from the blue/white game, and what a blast! mills looked crisp and has a better throwing technique this year. the receivers actually looked pretty good. there was only one drop where it should have been caught. the o-line looked pretty comfortable with the new zone blocking scheme. not great, but much better than last year. finally, Pos is a freakin monster. he will go all-big 10, no question. after todays display, i feel fairly confident that psu will be bowl bound this year. by the way, alot of recruits were present, and got the royal treatment. this kid from butler.....about 350 pounds of rock. heard he presses well over 500 as a junior. hope he picks us!

I dont accept your aplogy. PSU is bums. I have seen the best play, name a big time player in the past 5 years i have seen them play. They havent had a dominant player since Lavar. They have had some role players, but thats it. PSU should be happy with going to the Music City Bowl, because they will not be at the Outback or Citrus, sorry to burst your bubble.

once again....who is wva? ill take my chances with a program like psu over the johhny comelatelys of wva. psu drew 55 thousand people for a scrimmage....isnt that more than wva does on a real game? i guess rushing for over 2000 yards doent make you a dominant player either.

yeah pale rider,

i guess when you get picked over all it's no big deal... ala courtney brown. and how about last year 4 picked in first round. larry johnson.. yeah remember pale ride he didn't do anything or how about jimmy kennedy, the bast dl in college last year, or michael haynes. you have to be pretty dominate to get picked in the first round

speaking of larry johnson why did kansas city pick a running back in the first round do they not trust priest holmes and l.j.?

Yeah Packerfan,

We will see who is ranked higher at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year between WV and PSU ok? Had 55,000 at the spring game, good for them maybe it was because the knew they that Penn St. was going to win since they don't do that very much anymore!! With the attendance also that WV gets 65,000 at their games and has a student body of 30,000 students and PSU has 103,000 with their 55,000 students and you want to talk about how great that is! You can get off PSU's wagon now because you have nothing to do with their success or ever will

Amazing how one bad year can tarnish a whole programs history. What has WVU done over the last 25 years? or even 5? They play up to the great competition, but down to the bad teams, like Maryland in their bowl game last year. I give them credit, they have things going in the right way, but dont criticize a dominate football program. Like it or not PSU will always be considered a college football powerhouse. Sorry.
