for starters: CRLionDawg if your a steelers fan, you cant be a bengals or browns fan..i dont know how to compare that..but its not good.

Second, have faith in the steelers. They still have tons of talent so its not like theres a huge problem they need to fill, besides CB. Maddox can hold his own for a few more years, or if not Batch can do something. And in desperate needs throw Ben into the game, at least he can just hand off to Duce, or the bus. He has 3 great wideouts to toss to so no problem with the O. the line is shady, but if i remember right, some injuries hampered them last year.

The D is where i worry. CB will be shady, the safeties should be ok with polumalo(sp is bad) going to play the whole season, or should at least. LBs will be good, not great but good. I think that we should switch to the 4-3, just because its tough finding that outside backer who can cut if for you without having to wait 2-3 yrs for him to develop.

Farrior, Bell, Porter will more than likely be the solid 3 going into summer camp at LB this year for the linebackers. The other possiblilties for the 4th and final spot would be Larry Foote, Clark Haggans, and Alonzo Jackson, all who have been in the program at the very least of 2 years(Jackson). No name defense, only if you have never watched and NFL game. Adding speed to the secondary is needed and that has to be what they were going for with the second pick. Maddox will do most of the QBing this year, and if they seasons not going so well in the mid-stretch, they will more than likely throw Roethlisberger in, i would love to see him play this year, only if the seasons not going so well, but it will, i have faith, Cower will get things straightened out.

I don't know where you guys are getting the #2 is fast. His best 40 time was 4.49.That's good, but not as good as half the recievers he will be trying to cover, let alone the 4 to 6 inches in height he will be giving up.

I think the pick of Roethlisberger was a good one. Although, we won't know that for a few years. But this is a bad situation right now for the Steelers. It puts added pressure onto Maddox because he knows they'll be trying to get the rookie into the game and will take him out if he messes up early. This will be another long year for the Steelers.

No worries about me being a Steeler fan.

Americas Team , Dallas Cowboys all the way here.

I just feel bad for my friends who are Steeler fans. I hate to see them so frustrated year after year!

i hate the steelers, but am terribly jealous over yoru new TE from psu. he was totally underutilized, and will prove to be a much better TE than youve had for years.

The times I've seen for Colclough were considerably better than that, Eaglealum.

Here's a link that mentions a 4.26 time that I've seen other places. I had also heard he ran a sub 4.4 for the coaches.

Keep in mind that Derrick Strait got eaten alive in the Senior Bowl while Colclough more than held his own. The Steelers felt he was just the best single man cover guy in the draft.

BTW--DeAngelo Hall is about the same size and he was the first CB taken.
