Considering I am a graduate of CR and ran on the girls track team, I will be cheering for the blue and gold. So far what I have been reading in the paper, the bedford boys are very strong, and not in just one area. But, I have seen the ridge boys coming on very strong. The long and triple jump could be a very close first and second, considering utz now jumped 43 in the triple, showing he can compete with marshall. Colby mock and utz both proved themselves in the long jump. The hurdles too will be a close first and second, but I look for harris to take the W. I hope it's a close meet and both teams can show a little respect for each other, let the best team win. Good luck to both teams!
I have been following the girls from ridge and bedford also. I think this will be a close meet as well. I think both teams have some good talent, but no real stellar athletes. And believe me i'm not taking anything from any of the athletes. the hurdles should be close, but i'm looking for o'neal to edge out the competition. And whetstone could win the long jump, but ligtner is showing consistency in the triple. The 100 and 200 will be close as it was at the bedford invite. Good luck to both teams.
Go Blue and Gold! In coach Harlan's words, "Let's get them guys!"

anyone who still doubts that bedford is a powerhouse this year is crazy
bedford 102 ridge 42
(1600 relay was not run, only two people placed in highjump)

The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

yes, bedford boys walked away with this one today....managing 14 of 17 first place finishes with ridge taking the disc, shot, and 800. bedford took first, second and third in the 100, 200, and 1600 and the "almighty" j-rod managed a second place finish in the 400. guess bedford will take our perfect 10-0 record to somerset tomorow with bishop carroll and try to go 12-0

Yeah, we had a really bad night tonight. Our top guy in the one managed only an 11.9, and in the 400 he only got 54, which is rather slow for him. Bedford is a good team. However, I will still be rooting for Somerset and Forest Hills when the time comes. I don't mind Bedford beating us, so much as Bedford getting a really big head about it. So I'm hoping that one of those two teams comes along and bursts their bubble.
