Hi this is Josh McCloskey I just wanna say thanks to the young boys for giving me competition this year and lets not forget schendel since gunner likes him so much. Schendel may take 1st in districts this year and im happy for him he worked for it. We all have worked to get there. I dont think Schendel will get any higher than 13 cuz his form kinda tops out at 13 unless he can start to bend a 20 ft. pole
Ridge's Ryan Young and McConnellsburg's Josh McCloskey will be battling for the number one seed all season my money goes on McCloskey
word is McCloskey has changed drastically

The district pole vault competition should be a good one. Just to throw another name into the mix, Bowker of Meyersdale cleared 12'3 at the WestPAC championship.

Don't forget NB SOPH Travis Hoover when you talk about the future. This young man has improved 2-feet in the last 2 weeks going from a PR of 9'0" to hitting 10'3 vs Everett, 10'6 in the SHL Meet on Fri, and 11'0" with 3 solid cracks at 11'6 tonight at the Bellwood Invitational.
