I read that today too...

Joe plans to keep coaching for a while. I like it while others will hate it.

It is not the coaching staff that needs work, it is the players and execution that need work!

well, i can see your point to a certain extent, but the coaches havent been developing and managing the talent like they should. the offensive scheme has been horribly predictable, and the defense, well what defense.

Packerfan,

Very true, but JoePa will always be a winner and knows how to do things right because he has done it in the past. I just hope he goes out on the right note, the way he should go out (A WINNER).

i actually agree w/ you here h-wood. losing is always blamed on coaches and winning is credited to the players. thats how it usually goes. i think that in state college, the winning attitude was lost by the players. its not that the players on the field are that bad talent wise or that the coaching staff has forgotten how to coach. that team last year was in a lot of close games and couldnt find a way to win them. the year before that, the main reason they won 9 games was b/c LJ willed his way to being the best RB in football that year.

they need some guys to will their ways to victory this year. i think that mills is the key guy in that facet. this is his last year and im sure he wants to head out of town w/ his name being well-spoken of when they mention all the psu records he holds. if he has his arm strength back from when he was a freshman, he can lead this team to an 8 win season. there are a lot of "if's" with this team tho.

Hey I am not anti-PSU, but just back my team. I know where to give respect and where not to as some don't on this board! JoePa is a legend like him or not and I like him as a coach and anyone that does it so long deserves IT. I love his passion for the game and he is a good guy as well. I know him well also
