Right now I don't want to really hear anything about the treatment of Iraqi prisoners after watching the Berg video on the net. It's fairly easy to find if you look around. A lot of conservative websites are linking to it.
It'll sicken you, but mainly it'll make you incredibly angry. As Brokaw said the other night on the news, sometimes the stuff that's happening in the world today is right out of the Middle Ages.
I don't think Bush and his cronies have handled things very well over there at times, but for those who think we should cut and run, imagine a world where this kind of thing is happening daily. Everywhere.
At the very least, we need to enforce an Old Testament kind of vengeance on these animals. I hope we find them -- and I hope someone takes pictures. If that makes me -- usually a flaming liberal -- sound like a redneck --well, then long live rednecks.

did any of you really think that there would not be a response such as this by people like that? the longer we dick around over there, the more problems will arise. what about our own problems? the truckers are threatening to strike, which will shut down america. we need to get things straight here first. and dont even call me a freakin hippie or liberal. retaliation shold have been suspected, but not tolerated.
Retaliation is to be expected but not in this manor. I saw the video and now pray to God that i hadn't. It was the most terrible thing i have ever seen anywhere, anytime. I still get a sick, nautious, uneasy feeling just thinking about what i saw. If you haven't seen it, i wouldnt go looking for it, its not something that you should want to endure. All thoughts and prayers go out to the Berg family.
I was always a little bit on the fence on the whole "should we be there" talk, but now im all for it, with animals like that in the world, what better than the best Armed Forces in the World to try and rid the world of the virus that these pigs are.
