Syracuse name change

next season the mascot for syracuse will no longer be the Orangmen or Orangewomen...they will simply be known as the Syracuse Orange

It is indeed, a politically correct thing. Kind of like people are on the Cleveland Indians, Washington Redskins, and Atlanta Braves over a mascot. I can understand that they think it's discrimination and all, but shouldn't they be honored that their ancestors have a team named after them? At least, in a way. But what do I know?

I think its stupid, everybody will still call them the Orangemen and Orangewomen. All the broadcasters will mess it up at least 30 times a game. total political b.s.
