monday at practice nicklis ran a 2:05 in the 800 so yea he woulda won. and troy would have won the shot too, when ur back hurts so bad that u cant even run but u still throw something like 41 feet in the shot...just imagine how far it would have been if he would have been healthy.

and the gunner does like to talk in the third person, but i also like to talk in the first person...does it really matter that much? does it cause u severe sleep deprivation knowing that the gunner speaks in 2 different points of view, if so i apologize....

now i know berlin has a great track team and when i said crappy, i meant in a situation such as bedford was in yesterday. im just curious, when u say uve never won by less than 35 points does that mean uve never scored less than 35 points or does that mean uve never scored less than 92.5 points, remember, u only need just over 75 to win, so a 93-57 is only an 18 point win

Gunner....I'm not quite positive about what my hurdle girl there is talking about, but I do know that there were only about three or four teams that held us to under 100 points in a meet, and even then we were never under 90. I don't even think we were under 95 on the season. I could be wrong...I don't remember all of the scores off the top of my head and I can't find all of my newspaper clippings. Now....when you talk about the crappy day that your Bisons had at the county meet...we thought we were in the same boat at the beginning of the season without Ashley Hartman. She is a HUGE piece of our team. Luckily we had a heck of a group of freshmen come up and pull up some of the slack and really step up. This 14-0 regular season really was a TRUE team effort, there's no doubt about that.

southy, ill b lookin for ya at districts, and just about them apples...i dont care about them apples, i dont give a crap about the ladies teams (no offense girls) i dont pay attention to them at all, i dont recall ever talking them up so ur girls can have there lil "8th consecutive minus 1 year that it got cancelled and bedford won districts that year" county titles

and finally, since we like to blame me for making excuses how bout u guys complaining because ur boy foltin didnt win outstanding thrower? aww poor guy <tear>
So you're not making excuses?

For once, I'd just like for you to admit that your team lost, and leave it at that. For crying out loud, the world does not revolve around Bedford.

And you can make your sarcastic remarks about being from Ridge, but I'm darn proud of it. I'll take class and humbleness over pompus and arrogant any day.

gunner, ill give you harris in both hurdles and marshall in the triple for three wins. i dont think harris would have won the shot but even so, he still got second and got points. same with marshall. hes a heck of a jumper but there were two good jumps in front of him. but he also scorded points. nicklis in the 800. doesnt matter what he ran in practice, its what happens in the meet that counts. ive saw some awesome jumps in practice or on scatches, but they dont count. the kids gutsy though. great run in the 16 relay. i like that.

Statistical facts means being seeded with 2:08 does not beat Obie actually running a 2:07.

statistical facts prove that its possible to run faster than ur seeded time. which applies to everyone not just obie (a hard concept to understand i know, but ull get it eventually)

and dont even bother trying to counteract that by saying im contradicting myself, few people, and i mean VERY few people...i think obie and jrod r the only two actually...did better than what they were seeded, so the statistical facts still go in my favor

next contender please....

So Nicklis may have done worse than he was seeded, and lost. According to what you just said.

I think it is so awesome to see you guys argue about Counties, 'cause that is the sole purpose of the meet. It has no bearing on anything. It is only for bragging rights in the county. Heck, I ran track last year and I didn't even realize counties were cancelled. That is how insignificant they are and for the same reason is why you had guys sitting events out, healing for districts. But hey, the Bedford guys intelligently sat out to prepare for the important meet, Districts, and therefore forfeited bragging rights to Ridge. If ya sell the farm, just 'cause you once owned it, doesn't mean you can always come back to hunt on it. So you Bedford boys can say that if your eggs would have hatched, your chicken would have tasted better, but they didn't, so you'll just have to swallow your scrambled eggs. Bragging rights belong to CR until Counties in 2005.

Gunner, you goin' to districts?

Yeah, this arguing seems to be pointless. Counties is over....Ridge won...enough said.
