mondesi to leave buccos

Post by CTtrackster »

How bout that. Raul Mondesi is leaving the pirates for personal reasons..Definately going to make the team so much worse then what it is. We really need the young kids to step it up now.

terrible loss for the buccos, now we get to see mackoviack play every day yepppie! I was hoping they could play 500 ball but i guess not. Once this situation is resolved they shouldnt give him a cent, and sue him for breaking a contract.

man, this is terrible. mondesi wasnt gonna lead any kind of playoff charge but he would have made a good player for the bucs to dangle out there come the trade deadline. i hope that jj davis now gets his shot. i say start him a good portion of the time from now until the end of the year. see how he does. i think he could be a really solid player if he gets enough ab's.

i dont think jj davis is the answer, i mean the guy is pretty old he spent forever in the minor leagues but he might workout big strong guy. im just a huge buccos fan and i know mondesi wasnt gonna lead them to the pennat but he would have hit 30 dongs drove in 100 and hit 280 i bet kendall drops to cleanup with craig wilson 5th

dont forget about jason bay now. i think he is the bucs' best all around player. the line up to me should be bay, j wilson, kendall, c wilson, mackowiak, castillo, davis, redman. tike just isnt the guy to be a lead off hitter right now. his OBP is just digusting, i think its under .250.

the reason i think jj deserves a shot is that the pirates have been fooling around w/ him for so long they need to make sure he is a bust. i have read that he has focused himself this year, and i think that he could make a giant leap given some opportunity. i just dont see who else should get the PT.

I dont want to see mackoviak(botched the name) out there at all. dont forget that bay is coming back soon, and like you all are saying, jj davis is there to play. Nows also the time to find the young kids who will step it up. Search the minors for players someone to help lead the team into a winning season.

well thats bad news for the Pirates.......they are improved a lot from last year, and losing their best or one of there best players is just terrible, I look for the Pirates to fall to the bottom

I bet they finish 3rd in their division..ahead of the reds and the brewers. hope for a 500 season, but i dont think it will happen.

the buccos should finish 4th in the division...they aren't near the level of the astros, cubs, and cards at this point, but they should be able to finish higher than the brew crew and cinci...
